University of Derby Faculty visited BAC International

Mr. Carlton McDonald, Deputy Head of Department, Department of Computing and Mathematics, University of Derby, UK visited BAC International during 3-4 June, 2018. Upon arrival, he visited BAC International campus and met with faculties, exchanged greetings and views with the faculty members of School of IT. He conducted a staff development session for the UoD faculty members at BAC and gave an outstanding overview on the faculty, facilities and curriculum availability of the University of Derby.  He had a meeting with Prof Dr. Harunur Rashid, Chairman, BAC International. He has conducted classes for the current students of BSc (Hons) in IT at BAC International and the students shared their learning experience with him. Mr. Carlton met the prospective students for Top Up programme and discussed the possible progression routes available after BTEC- HND Programme in the University of Derby.

He answered various questions raised by the students on issues such as top up options in the final year of the undergraduate studies both internally and externally, course and syllabus contents and schedules and durations of the Top Up programme which is related to IT.

Mr. Carlton McDonald highly praised IT students of BAC International for their academic capability and marked them as prudent students of international standards.  Mr. Carlton also expressed his great satisfaction for BAC International’s state-of- the art facilities and academic environment.
